10 Things for managing Better LinkedIn Profile

1) The first of these is the  image : "show your face" put a picture on your profile like a resume .
This implies, among other things you have to have full profile 100% or at least 90%.
2)  properly manages your contacts : LinkedIn is a Most powerful networking tool, so we recommend you do not do contacts. We propose the following:
First define your goal (what do I get with LinkedIn?) And once defined, select your contacts based on your goals. So, if your goal is for a job, your contacts should be members of HR departments of companies they want to work, consultants, head-hunters, employment agencies, etc..
3)  Join professional groups and participate , you can show your "expertise", share knowledge, useful information about your industry. Participate in groups helps you to make yourself known to others who are not part of your direct contacts positions you within a subject or area of the company.
4)  Transmits positioning and differentiation : it is both your profile, groups and / or interventions are consistent and with a line that will be so much easier than the other members can reach you as a professional in a certain field.
5)  Watch your identity and manage your digital reputation . If you're looking for work, we recommend that you not only watch your LinkedIn profile. If you are on other networks about privacy settings or to be consistent with people who add and what you post there.
6) Watch the content of your profile . We recommend that the content of your profile will focus on outputs and outcomes rather than tasks performed as you would on a traditional CV. Carefully fill the extract and specialty and attitudes .
7) Watch the "informal rules": Thanks every time you accept a new contact. If you are looking for work and have sent your CV to a company you're not heavy, insistent, leaves a reasonable time to see if you answer, you get used to being patient.
8) If you are looking for work and you have a job,  properly set your profile  to not have problems. The options that LinkedIn allows you as to your configuration:
  1. Activity feed (allows you to make known to others the companies you are following, changes to your profile, your status updates;
  2.  Dissemination of your activity (contacts you've added to your list, the groups you've joined, etc..)
  3.  Access your contacts (who can see your contact list).
9) Keep your profile up to date: Just log on to a website that gives a bad image is outdated, so does the LinkedIn profile. What would think a director of HR who enters and sees your profile outdated? I could give you sense of complacency, inattention, ... attitudes that can probably apply in your work.
10) Make time . Having a suitable LinkedIn profile involves hours of dedication.Dedication of hours, the efficiency depends on the tool.
